COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE

The Novitio platform offers a powerful tool to sellers: the Compliance Certificate

This document serves as a testament to transparency, accountability, and adherence to ethical trading practices. It provides detailed proof that every transaction has been conducted with integrity and in alignment with industry standards, offering value to sellers, their clients, and regulatory bodies.

Key Elements of the Compliance Certificate

1

BIDDING PROCESS DOCUMENTATION:

- The certificate includes the number of potential bidders involved in the deal, demonstrating that the assets were exposed to a competitive marketplace.

- This is crucial for sellers working with public or private end-users that mandate assets must be offered to at least three potential buyers to meet procurement policies.

2

DETAILED ASSET INFORMATION

- It lists the serial numbers and general asset details of all items in the deal, providing a clear and auditable record of what was sold.

- This level of detail ensures traceability and builds trust with end-users or external auditors.

3

TRACEABILITY AND TRACE COUNTRY DATA

- The certificate incorporates trace country information on a serial number/asset ID basis, documenting where each asset is initially sent and, if applicable, its subsequent destination.

- This ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards, particularly for industries that require robust reporting and proof of sustainability practices.

Utility for Sellers and End-Users

1

LEASING COMPANIES, ITADs, AND OTHER SELLERS

- Sellers can present the Compliance Certificate to their clients as proof that their assets were tendered properly.

- The certificate is particularly valuable for demonstrating compliance with corporate or legal requirements for ethical and transparent trade practices.

2

END-USERS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS)

- Many end-users, including public entities, require assets to be exposed to multiple buyers to ensure fairness and competitive pricing.

- The Compliance Certificate confirms that sellers have adhered to these requirements, reducing potential legal or reputational risks.

Flexibility Through Invites
To accommodate specific needs, Novitio’s Invite Function allows sellers to include designated buyers in their listings, ensuring that all relevant parties are involved in the process.

This functionality is particularly beneficial when sellers have contractual obligations to include specific partners or buyers in the tender process. In some cases, the seller or buyer may need a smaller tender and may not wish to involve the entire Novitio ecosystem in a tender or request.

For these situations, Novitio offers a feature called Private Listing/request, whereas the default option is Public Listing/request. The Private Listing(request feature provides the flexibility to conduct private tenders exclusively with selected partners, buyers, or sellers.

A Competitive and ethical advantage

The Compliance Certificate doesn’t just ensure adherence to standards—it offers sellers a competitive advantage by providing a transparent, verifiable document that builds trust with clients.

By leveraging this feature, sellers can:

Flexibility Through Invites
Strengthen client relationships by demonstrating their commitment to transparency.
Simplify audits and reporting with comprehensive documentation.
Showcase ethical trading practices that align with modern corporate social responsibility expectations.
A New Standard for IT Asset Disposition
With the Compliance Certificate, Novitio empowers sellers to confidently meet industry requirements, comply with legal standards, and uphold ethical practices, all while reinforcing their reputation as trustworthy and responsible partners.
