Novitio was founded in 2020 by two people who had spent years on opposite sides of the refurbished IT trade – and saw the same gap.

We spent years watching perfectly usable IT equipment being sold through spreadsheets, emails, and personal networks. We knew there had to be a better way.

Our origin

Why We Started Novitio

Back in 2020, two industry professionals from different sides of the secondary IT market came to the same conclusion.

Anders Bech Jensen was working with one of Scandinavia’s largest value-added resellers, helping manage buybacks, IT asset disposition projects, and the resale of used IT equipment. At the same time, Anders Aaen Thordal Hansen was operating within the international broker and trading community, buying and selling refurbished IT equipment across markets.

Although they approached the industry from different directions, they shared the same frustrations. Too much time was spent distributing spreadsheets, chasing offers, managing email chains, and documenting transactions manually. Valuable opportunities depended on personal relationships, while transparency, traceability, and compliance often came as an afterthought.

Both had experienced situations where the best offer did not necessarily win. Sellers struggled to document fair processes, buyers questioned decision-making, and organizations relied heavily on individuals rather than structured systems. They believed the industry deserved better.

Novitio was founded to change that.

The vision was simple: create a platform that helps ITADs, leasing companies, resellers, brokers, and circular IT professionals work more efficiently while improving transparency, compliance, and trust. A platform where opportunities are evaluated on value rather than relationships, where documentation is built into the process, and where organizations can scale without adding administrative complexity.

Today, that vision continues to drive everything we build.
